Managing User Roles
Managing user roles is essential for ensuring that team members have appropriate access and permissions aligned with their job functions. This involves defining various roles within the organization, such as sales representatives, managers, or support staff, and assigning specific permissions and access levels to each role. By clearly defining these roles, organizations can control what data and features users can access, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information and streamlining user interactions with the system. Regularly reviewing and updating user roles ensures that permissions remain relevant as employees’ responsibilities change or new roles are created.

Administrators should periodically assess whether the current roles and permissions are meeting organizational needs and whether any adjustments are necessary. How To Change Role Access Of Existing User
To update the access level of an existing user, who has the role of master data operator to the whole marketing section also. Then,
Hover over the "Settings icon in the sidebar and select Users". Click on the checkbox next to the user to which the employee is associated. The "Edit" button will appear in the toolbar section on top-right.
Click on the "Edit" button. An "Edit User" window appears on the screen. Change the role in the Roles drop-down to the required role that you want to associate the employee with.
Click on "OK" button. The employee's profile will automatically change based on current update of his/her role. The employee has to log-out of the application and log-in again to view the changes made.
You have successfully updated the access of an existing user.
How To Reset Password Of An Employee
There might be situation when you have to reset your employee's password. The employee may have forgotten or missed his password and requested you to send him a link to change the password.
So you as an admin can send him the link this way,
Hover over the "Settings icon in the sidebar and select Users". Click on the checkbox next to the user to which the employee is associated. The "Reset Password" button will appear in the toolbar section on top-right.
After clicking on the button, you will receive a notification that a reset password mail has been sent to the registered mail id of the user.
Once, the employee receives the mail, he/she can click on the "Reset Password" button.
This will open a new page, where th employee can set new password and click on the "Confirm" button.
The employee is now directed to the login page where he/she can login the Ephanti application with new password credentails.
