Import and Export of Employee Data

The import and export functionality for employee data allows organizations to efficiently manage large volumes of employee information. By using the CSV format, administrators can quickly import employee records into the application, streamlining the onboarding process and ensuring that all necessary details, such as contact information, roles, and department assignments, are accurately captured. Similarly, exporting employee data to a CSV file enables organizations to back up records, share information with other systems, or conduct detailed analysis externally. This functionality ensures that employee data remains organized, up-to-date, and easily transferable across platforms.

How To Import Employees Data

To import, follow a few simple steps, hover over the "Customers icon in the sidebar and select Employees".

  1. Click on the ellipsis button beside the +New button.

  2. Select "Import".

  3. A window appears with specific instructions. Click on the template excel file link. The template shows you the structure in which you can import the data to Ephanti's application. Enter all your details in the excel file(copy the data from your existing file).

  4. Save the file as .csv file.

  5. Upload the file by clicking on "Upload File" link or, you can drag-and-drop the file.

  6. Click on the Next button.

  7. Here you click on the "Validate" button where it checks if you have entered proper data. After it shows there is no error, click on "Import".

  8. All the data will be imported in the employees section.

How To Export Employees Data

To export data for future reference,

  1. Click on the ellipsis button beside the +New button.

  2. Select "Export".

  3. A window appears with all the fields selected by default.

  4. You can choose which fields you want to export here, and then click on the "Export" button.

  5. The data is now exported in .csv format.
