Orders
In a restaurant, hotel, or any other hospitality establishment, orders encompass a wide range of services, from food and beverage requests to room service and amenities. Efficient order processing involves a well-coordinated system that begins with the guest placing an order and extends to the kitchen or relevant service departments. Maintaining and executing the orders is made easy and convenient using Ephanti CES application.
How To Create Order
To create an order,
Click on "Master Data -> Orders".
Click on the "+New" button. A modal appears in the middle of the screen.
Enter the required fields. Order ID and Order Date are mandatory fields.
Click on "OK".
The Order has been created successfully.
If you wish to search a partiular order, you can always use the "Search" box on the right side.
But, if you want to search orders with certain filters then we have advanced filter search option in our application.
To do advance search,
Click on the Search icon on the left side.
Give a "Title" to your filter criteria.
You can set this title to be your default view by enabling the toggle button.
Add the required filter using the segment options and then click on "Search" button.
You can now view the filtered orders list on the page.
Click on "Save" if you are satisfied with the results.
You will now view customized orders list on your page, which you can change anytime later.
How To Manage Orders
Orders can be easily managed and maintained. To modify an order,
Located the order that needs to be edited. Check the checkbox next to it.
The toolbar buttons appear on the right side of the screen.
Click on the Edit button on the right side. An Edit Order form appears where you can modify required changes.
Click on "Ok" once you are done.
To delete an order,
Located the order that needs to be deleted. Check the checkbox next to it.
The toolbar buttons appear on the right side of the screen.
Click on "Delete" button in the confirmation prompt that appears.
You will be notified with a success message after the deletion of the order.
The toolbar actions appear only after a checkbox is selected. If one checkbox is selected then "Edit" button appears. If more than one checkbox is checked then other toolbar opitons like "Delete" appear.
You can also import files if you already have data stored somewhere in your system.
