Static Target Groups
Static target groups in customer engagement systems are like carefully curated lists of contacts that remain fixed until manually updated. Static target groups are a valuable feature for businesses, allowing them to organize and segment their customer base based on specific criteria such as demographics, location, or purchase history. Unlike dynamic target groups that automatically update based on conditions, static target groups offer stability, making them ideal for targeted campaigns and consistent customer communication. Whether you're running a promotional offer or sending personalized messages, static target groups provide the precision you need to engage with your audience effectively.
How To Create A Static Target Group
To create a Static Group,
Go to Plan -> Target Groups.
Click on the "+New" button. Enter a relevant name to your target group.
Disable the Dynamic mode, click on OK. A screen will appear displaying all the contacts you have created so far.
To segment your group to a specific category, use the AND or OR rule.
a. If you want all your conditions to match then use AND rule.
b. If you want any one condition to match then use the OR rule.
Once you have added your conditions, click on Apply Filter.
The segmented contacts appear below. Click on "Save".
The Static Target Group is now ready to be used.
