Contacts

Contacts are fundamental components of a database and can include customers, leads, prospects, or any other individuals relevant to the business. Using contacts, you can create target groups for campaigns, keep record of all the information related to your company in a single database. Ephanti plays a crucial role in helping businesses cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with their contacts by providing a centralized platform for organizing and accessing vital customer-related information.

How To Create Contact

To create a Contact, follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on "Customers -> Contacts".

  2. Click on the "+New" button. A modal appears in the middle of the screen.

  3. Enter the required fields. The fields marked with "*" are mandatory.

  4. Select the type of Contact from the drop-down. You can see a list of options like Internet User, Partner, etc.,

  5. These options help you in grouping your contacts.

  6. You can always change the 'Type of Contacts' list in Party Type section.

  7. Click on OK.

The Contact has been created successfully. You can also import files if you already have data stored somewhere in your system.

How To Manage A Contact

When you create a contact in the application, there are times when you would like to make changes to it. Otherwise called as "data manipulation", you can edit or delete a contact. To do so, follow these steps,

  1. To edit a contact, check the checkbox next to the desired contact, select "Edit" from the toolbar icons that appear on top-right.

  2. A modal appears where you can make the necessary changes, then click on "OK".

  3. Your changes will now be reflected in the Contacts view page.

  4. To delete a contact, check the checkbox icon next to the desired contact, select "Delete" button from the toolbar section.

  5. A Prompt appears asking you to confirm if you want to delete the selected account.

  6. Click on "Delete" button to delete the account, or click on "Cancel" to abort your action.

The toolbar actions appear only after a checkbox is selected. If one checkbox is selected then "Edit" button appears. If more than one checkbox is checked then other toolbar opitons like "Delete" appear.

This way you can easily manage contact data in the Ephanti application. To keep a track of a particular contact, click on the ID of that contact so that you view all it's activity.
